LMS: Manager's Guide This site is for open-use lab managers at the University of South Florida.
Tools for use by LMS managers
Your LMS user name and password are required in order to access these tools. The Java 2 plug-in is required (or use current appletviewer). If you access the tool but do not have Java 2 plugged in, you will automatically be taken to the Sun download site where you can get the plugin.
Items Manager
Use this to update the host names of the machines in your lab.
Access Manager
Use this to update the table of who has access to your location. Different levels of access can be granted. The table below lists some access levels. A higher level implies all lower-level access. Attendant level access is required for the LMS Monitor program.

Java version of LMS Monitor
This has the same functionality as the HTML version but uses Java 2.
Daily Graphs
Graphs of each day's activity level by time of day are generated every night and sent to specific printers. If you wish to receive these printouts on a daily basis, please send request via email to the LMS database manager with the information listed below. If you are not sure, please have your system administrator provide this information. We have to be able to access the specified printer from an Academic Computing host in order for this to work!

- Host name of print server
- Printer name
- Printer description (2 or 3 words)
